Councilmember Elvig stated that he thinks this may have been a three -way deal. <br />There was a Consensus to move forward and attempt to split the cost for the survey. <br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />Schedule Jnterviews for Board & Commission Applicants <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that for the Board of Commission recruitment process, there are <br />at least five applicants each for the openings, including the incumbents. He stated that staff is <br />proposing March 11, 12, or 19, 2009, to conduct interviews. He stated that he will send the <br />possible dates out to the Council to confirm a date. <br />Warning Sirens <br />Councilmember Wise stated that he was trying to find other areas to save money on City services <br />and he ran across a report on the weather sirens. He noted that according to the reports, only <br />about 35% of the sirens work and wondered if there was a warranty or if they are in the process <br />of being fixed. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that he will check into that. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The Work Session of the City Council was adjourned at 8:33 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kurtis G.
