Case #3: Business EXPO Update. <br /> <br />Commissioner Nelson updated the Commission on the 1991 Business EXPO. There has been <br />some response from the businesses surveyed to determine their interest in the 1991 EXPO. <br /> <br />Survey comments from various businesses were brought to the Commission's attention. It was <br />discussed whether or not it would be a problem for charitable organizations.to sell food, with <br />profits going to the charity. <br /> <br />Case #4: Business Visitations. <br /> <br />The Commission discussed the possibility of tying the visitations together with the EXPO <br />recruiting and the formation of the Business Association. This was tabled until Pete Turok's <br />presentation at the next meeting on August 14, 1991. <br /> <br />Case #5: Community Profile. <br /> <br />Mr. Gromberg presented the Commission with the updated Community Profile. This is a tool that <br />can be provided to individuals and businesses that want to find out more about the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Nelson and seconded by Commissioner Gorecki to approve the updated <br />Community Profile and present it to City Council for their approval. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Wagner, Commissioners Fults, Gorecki, Kent, Nelson <br />and Vevea. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Greenberg. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Nelson and seconded by Commissioner Vevea to adjourn the regular <br />meeting of the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Wagner, Commissioners Fults, Gorecki, Kent, Nelson <br />and Vevea. Voting No: None.
