4) Attainment of an individual ZIP Code for the City <br />5) Inventory of property and buildings currently available in the City <br />6) Conduct a review of the Highway #10 Corridor and initiate ordinance and policy changes <br /> in order to make the corridor more viable and aesthetically pleasing. <br />7) Provide for discussion of redevelopment plan of Highway #10 Corridor. <br />8) Provide for formation of a coalition targeting activities requisite to a Mississippi River <br /> Crossing south of Highway #10 and east of Trott Brook. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairman Wagner and seconded by Commissioner Fults that these goals be forwarded <br />to the City Council as top priority for the City and the Economic Development Commission to <br />complete during 1992. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Wagner, Commissioners Fults, Vevea, Kent, Nelson and <br />Thorson. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Gorecki, Greenberg and Marn. <br /> <br />The EDC further discussed the Highway #10 Corridor Study and the fact that it needs to be <br />reviewed, approved and sent onto the City Council for recommendation to complete the proposed <br />goals that are listed in it. <br /> <br />The EDC also requested that its next meeting on January 8, 1992 be dedicated to the review and <br />status of the Highway #10 Corridor Study. Staff was directed to provide copies of the study for <br />members of the EDC who do not currently have a copy. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Vevea and seconded by Commissioner Fults to adjourn the regular <br />meeting of the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Wagner, Commissioners Fults, Vevea, Kent, Nelson and <br />Thorson. Voting No: None.
