<br />Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-03-051 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RAMSEY LIONS CLUB APPLICATION FOR A <br />PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT WYATT EARP'S IN RAMSEY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Ramsey Lions Club has applied for a premise permit for gambling at <br />Wyatt Earp's, 7550 Highway 10 NW, Ramsey; and . <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Ramsey Lions Club has requested Council waive the 30-day notice <br />provision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That. the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for The <br />Ramsey Lions Club to operate lawful gambling at Wyatt Earp's, 7550 Highway 10 NW, <br />Ramsey <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jeffrey and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Wise <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br />
