e•~ <br />Gouncilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 09-03-XXX <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE CITY TO ENTER INTO SUB-GRANT AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE METROPOLITAN EMERGENCY SERVICES BOARD FOR PORTABLE <br />RADIOS FOR PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey, has received a grant from the Metropolitan Emergency <br />Services board for ten (10) portable radios for the Public Works Department. These radios will <br />enable public works personnel to communicate with public safety personnel during emergency <br />incidents; and <br />WHEREAS, the grant is for $11,829.16 of the $15,959:00 cost of the radios, with the city share <br />being $2,957.29; and <br />WHEREAS, the grant requires entering into aSub-Grant Agreement for disbursement of the <br />funds. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY; ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: - <br />1) That the City of Ramsey City Council enter-into aSub-Grant Agreement with the <br />Metropolitan Emergency Services Board for the purchase often (10) portable radios for the <br />Public Works Department. <br />2) That the Mayor and the City Administrator are authorized to execute such agreement. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against-the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this-the 24~' day of March 2009. <br />Mayor <br />City Clerk <br />RESOLUTION #09-03-XXX <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />_71_ . <br />
