c -~~ Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #09-03-XXX RESOLUTION AFPR,OVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO NORTHWEST ASPHALT INC. FOR IIVIFROVENIENT PROJECT #OS-37, COUNTY FOND STORM-SEWER OUTLET WHEREAS, on October 28, 2008 the Ramsey City Council authorized the solicitaion of bids from plans prepared by staff, and; WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project 08- 37,County Pond Storm Sewer Outlet, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and, WHEREAS, on December 9, 2008 the Ramsey City Council awarded the contract for IP#08-37 to Northwest Asphalt in the amount of $392,29.17, WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends ls` partial payment Co Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amQUnt of$~159,694.20. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED DY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY C?F RAMSEY, ANCIKA. COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Northwest Asphalt for Improvement Project 0$-37 County Pond Storm Sewer Outlet in the amount of $19,694.20. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. . 3) That the total amount of this payment is not. included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of March 24, 2009. 4) That -the .City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
