3) <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />City Council public heating and regular meeting minutes dated March 26, 1991. <br />City Council regular meeting minutes dated April 9, 1991. <br /> <br />City Council special meeting minutes dated April 16, 1991. <br /> <br />NOTE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />The Park and Recreation Commission members noted the following Planning and Zoning <br />Commission meeting minutes: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning public hearing and special meeting minutes dated March 21, <br />1991. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning and Economic Development workshop minutes dated March <br />28, 1991. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case gl Review Titterud Park. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to table this issue until the June meeting. <br /> <br />Case g2 1992 C~lpital Improvements Program. <br /> <br />The Park and Recreation Commission reviewed the 1991 Parks and Recreation Capital <br />Improvement Budget. <br /> <br />Mr. Boos noted that in past years the budget was averaging from $80,000 to $110,000. <br /> <br />Chairman Hetland asked Mark Boos to check on applying for another LAWCON grant. <br /> <br />Mr. Boos suggested taking the concession stand off the 1991 budget. He stated that a trailer <br />would be more cost effective because it can be moved to different locations. <br /> <br />Chairman Hetland recommended that the City Council notify citizens living along the <br />proposed trail system to let them know how it is progressing. <br /> <br />Commissioner Lokker suggested adding lower and upper black top parking lots at Titterud <br />Park to the 1992 budget proposal. <br /> <br />Mr. Boos stated that if the City does this with in-house labor they would save a considerable <br />amount of money. He also suggested purchasing portable bleachers for the new ballfields in <br />Central Park as they could be moved to Traprock Commons for horse shows. <br /> <br />Mr. Boos explained that the Lord of Life Lutheran Church has donated some trees to the <br />Park Department. <br /> <br />Mr. Boos suggested installing a tennis court, a basketball court and a four square/hop scotch <br />courts in each hockey rink at Central Park. This would utilize the lights that already exist for <br />the hockey rink.
