<br />Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-02-034 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #09-04 (SEALCOAT AND CRACKFILL OF STREETS IN <br />HALLAND ACRES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted February 10, <br />2009, a feasibility study for the 2009 Streyt Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve <br />Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #09-04 (Sealcoat and Crackfill <br />of the streets in Halland Acres) including the streets more specifically described below: and, <br /> <br />Halland Acres <br />l54th Lane <br />Argon St. <br />Barium St. <br /> <br />from <br />from <br />from <br /> <br />Barium 8t. <br />153rd Ave. <br />153rd <br /> <br />to <br />to <br />to <br /> <br />Argon 81. <br />154th Lane <br />Pt. 200 n/o 154th Lane <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of crackfilling and <br />sealcoating of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting <br />property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of <br />$13,739. <br /> <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 10th day of <br />March, 2009 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW at 7 :00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Wise <br /> <br />RESOL UTION #09-02-034 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
