<br />Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-02-041 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #09-11 (BITUMINOUS OVERLAY OF STREETS IN <br />BARTHEL'S RUM RIVER 2ND) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted February 10, <br />2009, a feasibility studyfor the 2009 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve <br />Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #09-11 (Bituminous Overlay <br />of the streets in Barthel's Rum River 2nd) including the streets more specifically described <br />below: and, <br /> <br />Barthel's Rum River 2nd <br />161st Lane from Germanium S1. <br />164th Ave. from Germanium S1. <br />Germanium S1. from Pt 200 ft n/O 164th Ave <br />Junkite S1. from 164th Ave. <br /> <br />to <br />to <br />to <br />to <br /> <br />Dysprosium S1. <br />Dysprosium S1. <br />CuI de sac s/o 161st Lane <br />Pt 200 ft n/o 164th Ave. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of bituminous overlay of <br />such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all <br />or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 <br />and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $130,155. <br /> <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 10th day of <br />March, 2009 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember McGlone <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-02-041 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
