Between Variolite Street and
County Road #83.

Chairman Peterson indicated that a considerable discussion of this particular issue was previously
discussed this evening among members of the Budget Committee. Citizens in attendance at this
meeting were the same persons in attendance at the Budget Committee meeting. Chairman
Peterson indicated that citizens had several concerns regarding the proposal and he allowed those
citizens to reiterate their concerns for the benefit of Mayor Gilbertson.

Chairman Peterson noted that the Budget Committee had tabled action on this item pending a staff
response to the comments received. It was directed that this item be tabled until the response from
staff is received.

Case #2: Correspondence from Anoka County Turning Over County Road
#183 (Tiger Street N.W.) to the City of Ramsey.

Mr. Jankowski explained that we had received correspondence from Anoka County indicating they
had passed a resolution officially turning back County Road #183, that portion of Tiger Street
N.W. between County Road #83 and County Road #63 to the County. Mr. Jankowski indicated
that the construction of the new segment of County Road #83 made this portion of roadway no
longer integral to the County Road system. He noted that the County overlaid the road and was
turning it back to the City in good condition.

It was the consensus of the Road and Bridge Committee that a resolution accepting former County
Road #183 be prepared and sent to the City Council.

Road and Bridge Committee / September 24, 1991
Page 1 of 2
