PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 2, <br />1991 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chaimmn Gerald Zimmerman <br />Commissioner David Bawden <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner 'Ferry Hendriksen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Comm~ssmner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Merland Otto, Hakanson Anderson Associates Inc. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the meeting to order at 7:34 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Dale McKusick, Ramsey Fire Department, was present and asked the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission's cooperation with regard to fire prevention and safety. Fire fighting and fire safety <br />items must be pre-planned during thc construction of a building. He explained there is a unified <br />fire code to follow. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman requested a meeting with Mr. McKusick following tonight's regular <br />Planning & Zoning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to add the Fire <br />Department's case as #6 and move Case #6 to Case #7. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to approve the agenda as <br />amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Bawden, <br />LaDue, Hendriksen and Thorud. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmern]an adjourned the regular Planning and Zoning Commission meeting at 7:39 <br />p.m. in order to conduct the following public hearings: <br /> <br />1) Request for a conditional use permit to construct and maintain a church on <br /> B-1 Business Property; Case of Lord of Life Church <br /> <br />Planning & Zoning Commission/April 2, 1991 <br /> Page 2 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
