Councilmember introdu, ced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-08- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FROM MICHAEL ST. HILAIRE TO <br />EXCEED SIZE RESTRICTIONS FOR A DETACHED ACCESSORY BUILDING ON <br />PROPERTY FROM 1-1.9 ACRES. : <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Michael St. Hilaire, hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant," has properly <br />applied for a Conditional Use Permit to exceed the size restrictions for detached accessory <br />buildings on properties from 1-1.9 acres established in section 9.11.02 "Accessory Uses" of City <br />Code on the property generally known as 6251 169th Lane NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 3, Block 1, Petersons Estate, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />("Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF M_INNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public heating pursuant <br /> to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on August 7, 2003, and that said public hearing <br /> was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br /> by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential and is located outside the Metropolitan <br /> Urban Service Area (MUSA). <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is approximately 1:75 acres in size. <br /> <br />4. That City Code restricts the Subject Property to a total of 1,664 square feet of accessory <br /> building space. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has a primary garage of 816 square feet; the new accessory building is <br />proposed to be 1,200 square feet in size; resulting in a total of 2,016 square feet of accessory <br />building on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />6. That the Applicants have stated that the reason for the excess size of the proposed building is <br /> to store recreational vehicles and other personal property. '- <br /> <br />7. That the Applicant has stated that the detached accessory building will be utilized for <br /> personal storage and will not be used to facilitate a business. <br /> <br />8. That the construction of the detached accessory building will comply with all applicable <br /> Unifbrm Building Codes. <br /> <br />33 <br /> <br /> <br />
