-106- <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS <br />TO THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATIVE HEARINGS <br />WHEREAS, the role of the Board of Administrative Hearings is to act as the Hearing <br />Examiner as defined in the City Code, Section 5.20, and to take testimony from all interested <br />parties; affirm, appeal or modify the citation; and prepare findings of fact; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council voted by consensus to appoint Mr. Jason Tossey and Mr. <br />Bill McGowan to the Board of Administrative Hearings, and <br />WHEREAS the Administrative Hearings Board will meet on an as needed basis and <br />citizen members will be paid a $25 stipend per meeting. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That a Board of Administrative Hearings will be created and Mr. Jason Tossey and Mr. Bill <br />McGowan will serve on the Board. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 14 day of April 2009. <br />
