-108-
Following the public hearing, the Council should direct any revisions to the feasibility study it
deems necessary as a result of the comments made. The feasibility study will serve as the basis
for determining the work to be performed and the method in which costs will be financed.
Assuming no petitions are received from a majority of the benefited properties opposing the
improvement, the Council will be asked to order the project at its May 26, 2009 meeting. It is
anticipated that contracts could be awarded as early as late July of 2009 and work could be
performed during August through September. Final costs are anticipated to be presented at the
assessment hearing on September 28, 2009.
Action:
None required, unless modifications to the feasibility study are desired.
Reviewed by:
City Administrator
Director of Public Works /Principal City Engineer
Public Works Street Supervisor
Fire Chief
Police Chief
Finance Officer
Attachments:
Feasibility Report for the Bituminous Paving of Ute Street north of 179 Lane IP 08 -33
CC: 04/14/09
