-138- <br />Councilmember ` introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />A RESOLUTION APROVING THE CONSTRUCTION OF TRAILSIDE GARDEN <br />IMPROVMENTS, BY ANDREA SEIBERLICH, AND ADOPTING PARTNERS, AND <br />DECLARING THE CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL; AND <br />ADOPTING A DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT BETWEEN ANDREA <br />SEIBERLICH, ADOPTING PARTNERS, AND THE CITY OF RAMSEY. <br />WHEREAS, the City has an Adopt -A -Spot program which allows volunteers to contribute to the <br />beatification of parkland, through the adoption of a site, with the purpose of enhancing the environment <br />and appearance of this community; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is the owner of property generally located north of the intersection of <br />Sunwood Drive NW and Junkite Street NW, and legally described as follows: <br />Outlot A, Wood Pond Hills, City of Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />(hereinafter known as the "Subject Property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Subject Property is identified as parkland in the Parks and Trails map. <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant and Adopting Partners have petitioned the City to allow for the <br />installation of certain improvements described in associated grading plans, and project proposal on the <br />Subject Property; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires these improvements to be responsibly maintained and developed <br />by the Applicant and Adopting Partners; and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />On April 14, 2009, approval was granted to the applicant and adopting partners to Adopt -A -Spot, and <br />construct proposed improvements on a portion of the Subject Property <br />This Approval is issued pursuant to the Adopt -A -Spot program of the City of Ramsey. The conditions of <br />this Approval are as follows: <br />1. That this approval shall remain in effect as long as the conditions imposed herein are complied with; <br />and <br />RESOLUTION #09 - 04 - <br />Attachment: C <br />2.
