City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br />At the regular City Council meeting of February 10,2009, an RFP (Request for <br />Proposals) for Legal Services for the City of Ramsey was authorized. The advertisement period <br />for the RFP was March 2,2009 through April 3, 2009. The RFP was advertised in the Anoka <br />County Union, on the League of MN Cities website, City of Ramsey website, and the RFP was <br />mailed to metro area law firms. <br /> <br />Twelve (12) proposals were received by the deadline of Friday, April3rd at 4:30 p.m. <br />from the following law firms (alphabetical order): <br /> <br />Barna, Guzy and Steffen, Ltd. <br />Berglund and Berglund, Ltd. <br />Campbell Knutson <br />Couri, MacArthur and Ruppe, LLP <br />Flaherty Hood P A <br />Hawkins and Baumgartner, P A <br />Johnson Condon, PA <br />Kelly and Lemmons, P A <br />Knaak and Kantrud, P A <br />Randall and Goodrich, PLC <br />Stephen A. Baker <br />Sweeney, Borer and Sweeney <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council has been provided a proposal from each firm.
