Councilmember Look stated that he finds it intriguing that <br />the State and Federal government has no Wetland Buffer requirements. Councilmember Elvig <br />reviewed what had happened with the Tree Preservation ordinance and when people heard it was <br />coming, went and stripped their property of all trees. He stated that something similar happening <br />is his fear. Mayor Ramsey read aloud some questions that he would like to be answered as the <br />ordinance is amended. Councilmember McGlone stated that he questions the need for a buffer at <br />all. He stated that he supports a repeal and doesn't think there will be any exposure and. noted <br />that no State or Federal agency have weighed in to tell eed this. Mayor Ramsey <br />asked that some pictures be shown that he recently to . rook trail that he feels <br />encroached on the Wetland Buffer Ordinance. En . ator Anderson noted that <br />this plat came before the Wetland Buffer Ordin nd the City didn't own <br />the land.
