The owner of the premises licensed or to be licensed would not qualify for a license under the terms of this Section. 7.13.17 Off-site storage. Upon written request, the police chief may approve anoff-site locked and secured storage facility. The pawnbroker shall permit inspection of the facility in accordance with section 7.13:05. All provisions of this Section regarding record keeping and reporting apply to the facility and its contents. Property shall be stored in compliance with all provisions~of the city code. The pawnbroker must either own the building in which the business is conducted, and any approved off--site storage facility, or have a lease on the business premises. 7.13.18. Business at only one place. A license under this Section authorizes the licensee to carry on its business only at the permanent place of business designated in the license.. However, upon written request, the City may approve an off-site locked and secured storage facility. The licensee shall permit inspection of the facility in accordance with (INSPECTION_OF ITEMS). All provisions of this Section regarding record keeping and reporting apply to the facility and its contents. Property shall be stored in compliance with all provisions of the city code. The licensee must either own the building in which the business is conducted, and any approved off-site storage facility, or have a lease on the business premise that extends for more than six (6) months. . 7.13.19 Notice. Should any Section, section, subsection, clause or other provision of this ordinance be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not effect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any part other than the part so declared invalid. Historical Note Ord. #02-04 modified § 7.13.06 to increase the Established by Ord. #90-15, July 10, 1990, number of days a pawnshop must hold on to items from five (5) days to thirty (30) days.
