<br />owner to utilize the property for a heliport. Permits are not transferable from person to person or <br />from address to address. - <br /> <br />9.16.06 Termination of Permit. A permit shall terminate upon the occurrence of any of <br />the following events, whichever occurs first: <br /> <br />a. The expiration date stated in the permit, if any; or <br /> <br />b. A violation of conditions and subsequent revocation of Permit in <br />accordance with procedures provided for in Section 9.03.05 for revocation <br />of Conditional Use Permits. <br /> <br />c. Unless otherwise specified by the City Council at the time it is authorized, <br />a Permit shall expire without further notice to the permittee if: <br /> <br />1. The use is not initiated within 12 months of the date of City <br />Council approval; <br /> <br />2. or if the Permit is discontinued for a continuous 12 month-period; <br />unless a written request for an extension of time has been received <br />and approved by the City Council prior to the expiration of the <br />original Permit. <br /> <br />9.16.07 Pre-existing Uses. Any property owners or residents operating a heliport within <br />the Ramsey City limits on the effective date of this ordinance shall have sixty (60) days to apply <br />for a Permit, if they comply with the criteria for approval. If the heliport cannot comply with the <br />criteria, the property owner or resident shall abandon the heliport within 60 days of the effective <br />date of this ordinance. <br /> <br />9.16.08 Penalty. Any person violating any proVISIon of this Section is guilty of a <br />misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine or imprisonment or both. <br /> <br />SubSection 9.20 of the City Code is amended to include Personal Use Heliports as a Conditional Use <br />under Zoning Districts R-1, Residential, R-2 Residential, R-3 Residential, B-1 Business, B-2 Business, E- <br />1 Employment, E-2 Employment, and ToWn Center Sub-Districts 1,2 &3. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
