Absent: Commissioners Brauer and Rogers. - <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />The following Council minutes were noted: <br /> <br />1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated February 10,2009 <br />2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated February 24,2009 <br />3) City Council regular meeting minutes dated March 10, 2009 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/COMMISSION BUSINESS <br />.. . . . <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Public Hearing - Request for a Conditio~al Use Permit to Operate a Daycare <br />Center in the B-l.Business District <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 7:03 p.m. in <br />order to call the public hearing to order. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt called the public hearing to order at 7:03 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Environmental Coordinator Anderson presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt inquired if this was a changed use would we be looking at the fire suppression. <br /> <br />Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated if this were not an existing educational type use fire <br />suppression would need to be looked at. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Miller stated that would. be a requirement under the building <br />and fire code if it was a changed use. <br /> <br />Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated our Fire Chief and Fire Inspector are familiar with <br />this case and had only one concern that. the paved fire lane on the south side of the building <br />would not be obstructed by the play area. <br /> <br />Commission Van Scoy questioned how many exits there were.
