<br />Now as we face the first divisive issue of this new council and new <br /> <br />year it appears not only has that vision statement been forgotten but also <br /> <br />directly contradicted by this public hearing and the methods being used to <br /> <br />deal with the wetland buffer controversy. <br /> <br />In case people have forgotten-which many apparently have-that <br /> <br />vision statement reads: <br /> <br />Without compromising private property rights and needs of future <br />generations, Ramsey will evolve through citizen driven, collaborative <br />processes that respect the balance and connectivity between its unique <br />urban, rural and natural environments. <br /> <br />,Among the value statements are tp.e following: <br /> <br />I. Maintain land owner rights. <br /> <br />III. Involve all citizens in decisions that impact their liv.es, property <br /> <br />and neighborhoods through the use of a facilitated process such as <br /> <br />collaborative decision-making. <br /> <br />IV.
