Case #1: Public Hearing: Improvement Project 08;..33 the Bituminous Pa.ving of Ute Street North of 179h Lane Councilmember Elvig excused himself from the Council dais because he lives on this street and didn't want there to be a conflict of interest. Mayor Ramsey closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:24 p.m. in order to conduct a public hearing. Public Hearin2 Mayor Ramsey called the public hearing to order at 7:24 p.m. Presentation City Engineer Jankowski reviewed the staff report Citizen Input David Elvig, 18026 Ute Street, stated that he has become the spokesman for his neighborhood. He stated that the concern of the residents was the thought of. broadening their 16- foot road to a 33-foot road freaked them out. He stated having the road stakes in place gave people a good idea of where it would actually lie. He stated that the neighbors support a concrete curb and gutter for this project. He noted that there is a consensus among the neighbors to support a 24- foot wide roadway. Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Look to close the public hearing. Motion carried. V oting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Jeffrey,. Look, Dehen, McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. Abstain: Councilmember Elvig. The public hearing was closed at 7:28 p.m. Councilmember Elvig left the Council Chambers at 7:28 p.m. Council Business Mayor Ramsey called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:28 p.m. There was no action taken.
