Design Phase <br />Airfield Design <br />Terminal Area Design <br />Roadway Relocation Design <br />Mechanical and Electrical Engineering <br />Preparation of Bidding Documents <br />including Detailed Plans <br />and Specifications <br />Phase V Bidding and Construction Phase <br />Assist Sponsor with advertising for bids <br />Bid evaluation <br />Recommendation of Contract Award and <br />Assist with Preparation <br />of Contract Documents <br />Phase VI - Construction Phase <br />Represent Sponsor at Preconstruction meeting <br />Periodic and /or Resident Inspection <br />Preparation of Change Orders <br />Materials Testing <br />Preparation of Pay Requests <br />Final Inspection <br />Phase VII - Project Closeout Phase <br />Post Construction Engineer's Report <br />Prepare "As Built" Record Drawings <br />Final Pay Request <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation, State of Minnesota (MN /DOT) <br />is the authorized agent of the Sponsor, <br />WHEREAS, the Engineer agrees to furnish executed "Certification of <br />Engineer" and certain professional engineering and planning services <br />enumerated herein in connection with the aforesaid project, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the benefits which will <br />k accrue to the parties hereto by virtue of the Agreement and the <br />irespective covenants contained herein, IT IS MUTUALLY COVENANTED AND <br />AGREED: <br />V <br />II.
