RAMSEY ACTION COMMITTEE

TO: RAMSEY CITY COUNCIL
RAMSEY, MINNESOTA
55303

As you know, the referendum election on the airport zoning
ordinance is scheduled for April 19, 1988. We request that
the city publish a special edition of the "RAMSEY RESIDENT"
to better inform the residents of the issue to be voted on.
We feel that the city should publish this special issue
covering both the proponent's and opponent's arguments
on the issue. That way both points of view can be aired,
and the city can have control over the accuracy of the
statements made. With this approach residents will have
accurate information to base their decision on. We feel
this will eliminate the problem of inaccurate and misleading
information being spread.

If the City Council agrees with this idea, the RAMSEY
ACTION COMMITTEE would like to present it's views on the
airport and zoning ordinance from the opponent point of view.

We would like this letter read into the minutes of the next
council meeting, and would like a formal response from the
city.

Sincerely,

Members of the RAMSEY ACTION COMMITTEE

~aJ~ ~
-0~

.
