Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmember Look, to adopt Ordinance #09-OS to <br />repeal City Code Section 9.26 (Wetland Protection) <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary. <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Wise <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Motion carried. <br />aye <br />aye <br />aye <br />opposed <br />opposed <br />aye <br />aye <br />Mayor Ramsey suggested staff contact Ralph Brauer regarding facilitating this process and <br />suggested that this be posted on the website to get public involvement. <br />Councilmember Elvig left the Council Chambers at 8:30 p.m. <br />Councilmember Look suggested staff investigate wetland banking and the process required for <br />that as well as the pros and cons and include that in the OST process. <br />Councilmember Dehen stated that he would like to see this advertised in the Ramsey Resident <br />and not just posted on the website. <br />Community Development Director Miller stated that the newsletter deadline has already passed. <br />Councilmember Jeffrey asked about the utility billing cycle. <br />Community Development Director Miller noted that the deadline was last week. <br />Assistant City Administrator Nelson noted .that the next newsletter cycle is probably about 6 <br />weeks out, but that could be tweaked a bit to be a little earlier. <br />Mayor Ramsey stated that he originally wanted to get this started within the next 30 days, but <br />would like to just do it as soon as possible. <br />Councilmember Elvig returned to the Council Chambers at 8:33 p.m. <br />Councilmember Wise left the Chambers at 8:34 p.m. <br />Case #4: Adopt Ordinance Establishing Topsoil Requirements <br />City Engineer Himmer reviewed the staff report. <br />City Council / Apri128, 2009 <br />Page 7 of 12 <br />
