Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #09-03-061 RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 08-32 (ANDRIE STREET & 164TH LANE STREET IMPROVEMENTS) WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted on May 13, 2008 in response to a petition, a feasibility report for street improvements to Andrie Street and 164th Lane in the Northfork Subdivision has been received, having been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer; and, WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #08-11-218 on November 25, 2008, fixing a date for a Council public hearing on the proposed improvement. WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held on January 13, 2009, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and WHEREAS, the time available for the receipt of a petition opposing the project has expired; and WHEREAS, Section 8.4.1 of the City Charter states that the project may not be ordered for 60 days from the close of the public hearing. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed III the feasibility study report. 2) That the improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in this Council Resolution adopted March 24,2009. 3) That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Look and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Ramsey Councilmember Jeffrey Councilmember Look Councilmember Dehen Councilmember McGlone Councilmember Wise and the following voted against the same: none RESOLUTION #09-03-061 Page 1 of 1
