The following is a brief summary of actions taken in early May 2009 that may be
of interest to the Planning Commission:

Request for Site Plan for the NAU Parking Lot. City Council approved a site plan review request from
NAU Holdings, LLC to expand their parking lot to Outlot A, Ramsey Town Center 4th Addition, the
adjacent parcel. Since no buildings were proposed, the site plan was not sent to Planning Commission for
review. A Development Permit will be secured to ensure proper installation of the- parking lot and
associated improvements.

Request for an Interim Use Permit to Allow a Place of Assembly in the H-I Highway Business District.
City Council approved an amendment to the request from Freedom Christian Center to operate a place of
assembly in the facility also occupied by B & B Carpet on Highway 10. The Applicant will be providing
all parking on site rather than securing a cross parking agreement. The final parking plan is only four
spaced deficient of what is normally required under City Code, a substantial reduction as opposed to the
original submittal.

Introduce Ordinance to Amend Flag Pole Specifications. City Council introduced the Ordinance to
amend flag pole regulations. A provision as to flag size based on flag pole height was added and
language clarified. No permit is being proposed for poles meeting a setback of equal to or greater than-
the height of the pole~

Site Visit of Great River Energy. The Planning Commission is reminded to RSVP with 10Ann Sh!iw if
you plan to attend the site visit of Great River Energy on June 23rd at 2 p.m..
