Absent: Commissioners Brauer and Rogers. <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />The following Council minutes were noted: <br />1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated February 10, 2009 <br />2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated February 24, 2009 <br />3) City Council regular meeting minutes dated March 10, 2009 <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS /COMMISSION BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Public Hearing — Request for a Conditional Use Permit to Operate a Daycare <br />Center in the B -1 Business District <br />Chairperson Nixt closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 7:03 p.m. in <br />order to call the public hearing to order. <br />Public Hearin <br />Chairperson Nixt called the public hearing to order at 7:03 p.m. <br />Presentation <br />Environmental Coordinator Anderson presented the staff report. <br />Citizen Input <br />There was none. <br />Chairperson Nixt inquired if this was a changed use would we be looking at the fire suppression. <br />Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated if this were not an existing educational type use fire <br />suppression would need to be looked at. <br />Community Development Director Miller stated that would be a requirement under the building <br />and fire code if it was a changed use. <br />Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated our Fire Chief and Fire Inspector are familiar with <br />this case and had only one concern that the paved fire lane on the south side of the building <br />would not be obstructed by the play area. <br />Commission Van Scoy questioned how ..many exits there were.
