CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig (arrived at 5:38 p.m.) <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey (arrived at 5:44 p.m.) <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise (arrived at 5:05 p.m.) <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Police Chief James Way <br />ABC News Reporter Tammy Sakry <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:03 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Interview Law Firms for City of Ramsey Legal Services <br />5:00 p.m. William K. Goodrich, RANDALL and GOODRICH, P.L.C., Anoka, MN <br />Mayor Ramsey asked the candidates to introduce themselves. <br />Gerald Randall, Christian Peterson, and Bill Goodrich introduced themselves. <br />Councilmember Wise arrived at 5:05 p.m. <br />City Administrator Ulrich asked seven interview questions. <br />Mr. Goodrich noted that he has been the civil attorney for the City through many various <br />administrations and Councils. <br />City Council Work Session / May 12, 2009 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
