GREENING agrees to provide the following list of <br />services to the CITY OF RAMSEY (see Attachment 2: "Maps" and <br />Attachment 3: "Workplan"): <br /> <br />a) Riparian Forest-Riverbank <br /> <br />. Phase I <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />· Recruit and coordinate volunteers (spring, 2009) <br />· Coordination, planning, and oversight of all activities <br />· Spot spray exotic invasives in riverbank area (outlined in <br />light blue in map in Attachment 2). Approximately 4 acres. <br />(Summer, 2009) <br />· Cut and treat grapevines/buckthorn/tatarian honeysuckle in <br />riverbank area. (June, 2009) <br />· Planting of native forb plugs, sedges, grasses, and ferns <br />along the south side of the trail (but 5 feet away from edge of <br />trail that is to be mowed (see Attachment 2) (June 2009) <br />· Plant scattered native shrubs in bare spots under canopy <br />(Summer, 2009) <br />. Phase II <br />· Install shrub willow live stakes (2000 ft2, space 4 x 2) in <br />splash zone of riverbank (Spring, 2010) <br /> <br />b) Riparian Forest Buffer-Pond: <br /> <br />. Recruit and coordinate volunteers (spring, 2009) <br />· Preparation of removed red cedars for revetment (June 2009) <br />. Order and procure materials, including native tall/wet seed mix and <br />cover crop (see Attachments 1 and 2). <br />· Hand-broadcast of native seed throughout pond perimeter area <br />(outlined in yellow on map in Attachment 2) (June, 2009) <br /> <br />c) Restoration of Rare or Declining Habitats: <br /> <br />. Old Field <br />· Spot spray exotic invasives in old field (outlined in green on <br />map in Attachment 2) and pond (outlined in yellow in map in <br />Attachment 2) areas. Approximately 13 acres. Mowed Area <br /> <br />· Recruit and coordinate volunteers (spring, 2009) <br />· Planting of approximately 12 flats of 50 native forb plugs, <br />sedges, grasses, and shrubs along the north border of the <br />property, near adjacent homes (June 2009) (see Attachment <br />2) <br /> <br />Great River Greening <br /> <br />2 <br />
