The water quality side of things is the WMO requires what we require which is the <br />NURPs standards and then there is the MPCA standard is only on a W' storm for water quality <br />purpose. Another thing that goes along with this discussion is we are trying to encourage <br />infiltration to take on some of that volume. <br /> <br />Civil Engineer II LeOl'1ard Linton wanted to point out that the W"tvl0 is going through the same <br />process and that we want to be in step \vith them. Statf is not asking for anything tonight, but <br />just wanted to keep the Committee informed. <br /> <br />No action taken. <br /> <br />Case #9: <br /> <br />Consider Request for a Priority Streetlight at the Intersection of Alpine <br />Drive and Ute Street <br /> <br />City Engineer Tim Himmel.' advised that staff. considered instaIling a street light back in <br />November but due to cost conditions the project was delayed until spring. At that same meeting, <br />it was discussed that the City may not be fulfilling its priority street policy on a high speed road <br />at the intersection of Ute Street and Alpine Drive which meets our current policy. Staff is asking <br />for authorization to install a street light at the comer of Ute Street and Alpine Drive. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmember McGlone to recommend to City <br />Council to direct staff to install a street light at the comer of Ute Street and Alpine Drive. <br /> <br />Motion cmied. Voting Yes: Vice Chair Dehen, Mayor Ramsey, Councilmember McGlone. <br />Voting No: 'None.
