be subject to the provisions of the ordinance. <br />Amended §5.07.07, changing "500 yards" to "500 <br />feet" and providing the following exception to the <br />prohibition against shot guns using smaller than 4 shot; <br />"unless a permit is granted by the Town Clerk to the <br />owner or tenant of 40 acres or more, which permit shall <br />permit said owner or tenant to shoot smaller than size 4 <br />shot during the Minnesota deer season only on their 40 <br />acres or larger tract and then only in compliance with all <br />other provisions of this ordinance." <br />Ord. #83 -15 established Sections 5.07.09 and 5.07.10. <br />Ord. #05 -26 amended §5.07.07 by stating that the <br />discharge of firearms shall NOT be permitted within <br />1,500 feet of any residential dwelling or other structure, <br />park or playground. And, by not allowing shotguns to <br />use larger than size six (6) shot and non -lead shall be the <br />only type of firearm permitted in any part of the City. <br />§5.07.09 was also amended by this ordinance. Bow and <br />arrow hunting shall NOT be permitted within 500 feet <br />(used to say 300 yards) of any residential dwelling or <br />other structure, park or playground and said hunting <br />shall NOT be permitted within 500 feet (used to say 150 <br />yards) of any trunk highway. Effective date November <br />14, 2005. <br />
