Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #09- 06 -XXXX <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONTRACT WITH RANDALL AND <br />GOODRICH PLC FOR CIVIL AND PROSECUTION LEGAL SERVICES FOR <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />WHEREAS, on February 10, 2009 City Council authorized a Request for <br />Proposals (RFP) for legal services for the City of Ramsey, and; <br />WHEREAS, the RFP was advertised in the Anoka County Union, the League of <br />Minnesota Cities website, the City of Ramsey website, and; <br />WHEREAS, twelve (12) proposals were received by the deadline of Friday, <br />April 3 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, six (6) firms were interviewed on May 12 by the City Council and <br />the interviews were reviewed at the May 26 work session and staff was directed to <br />prepare a contract with Randall and Goodrich, PLC utilizing the retainer proposal <br />provided by Randall and Goodrich, PLC. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the contract with Randall <br />and Goodrich PLC for civil and prosecution legal services for the City of Ramsey. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 23 day of June 2009. <br />
