<br />Attachment A <br /> <br />Councilmember <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following. resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING ANOKA COUNTY HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY UPDATE THE MARKET ANALYSIS FOR AFFORDABLE <br />WORKFORCE AND SENIOR HOUSING AND AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY HRA TO <br />FUND THE UPDATE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey requested Anoka County perform a market analysis for <br />affordable workforce and senior housing and a study of redevelopment August 9, 2005; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey accepted the Analysis of Demand for Affordable <br />Workforce and Senior Housing in Ramsey, Minnesota prepared by Maxfield Research Inc., May <br />9,2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is interested in determining the need for workforce and <br />senior housing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan specifically states a policy of working with local <br />and regional housing agencies to identify low and moderate housing needs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, County HRA has indicated the desire to explore the potential for <br />redevelopment of the current Allina site and participate in the update of the Market Analysis; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council requests that Anoka County HRA conduct an update to <br />the Market Analysis for Workforce and Senior Housing that was completed in April <br />2006; and <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council requests that Anoka County HRA fund the update for the <br />Market Analysis. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember_ <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br />
