<br />Councilmember <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-07-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN CITY VEHICLES AS EXCESS <br />PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A REPLACEMENT <br />BUILDING MAINTENANCE TRUCK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has conducted a review of the existing fleet of City vehicles; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has determined that two (2) vehicles should be declared <br />exeess;and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff intends to sell the two (2) vehicles at auction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff is requesting to purchase a replacement building maintenance <br />truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there is currently funding available for a building maintenance <br />vehicle in the fleet account. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes declaration of the <br />following two (2) vehicles as excess equipment: <br /> <br />Unit # <br />312 <br />382 <br /> <br />Model <br />1997 Dodge Ram <br />2008 Ford Cr. Vie. <br /> <br />VIN# <br />IB7HF13Z7VJ613543 <br />2FAFP71 V58XI02759 <br /> <br />Mileage <br />125,854 <br />63,377 <br /> <br />2) That the City Council authorizes the sale of the excess vehicles. <br /> <br />3) That the City Council authorizes the replacement of the Building Maintenance <br />Truck. <br /> <br />4) That the proposed replacement truck is a 2010 Ford F250, purchased under the <br />State Contract, at a price of $22,720 plus tax and license fees, with funding from <br />the Fleet Account and proceeds from the sale of the two excess vehicles. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br />
