<br />Community Development Director Miller presented the Staff Report. <br /> <br />Citizen InDut <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Cleveland, seconded by Commissioner Hunt, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chair Levine, Commissioners Cleveland, Hunt, Dunaway <br />and Van Scoy. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt and Commissioner Rogers. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:06 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Dave Evenson, owner of Diamond Auto Inc., 7867 Park Court NE, Otsego, and a representative <br />ofLano Equipment, 6140 Highway 10, the applicants. Lano Equipment representative stated this <br />would be beneficial for the area. The building has been vacant for quite some time. <br /> <br />Mr. Evenson gave a brief explanation of where his business is now and why the business would <br />be good in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner VanScoy, seconded by Commissioner Cleveland to recommend City <br />Council adopt the findings of fact favorable to the applicant. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chair Levine, Commissioners Van Scoy, Cleveland, <br />Dunaway, and Hunt. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt and Commissioner Rogers. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner VanScoy, seconded by Commissioner Hunt to recommend City <br />Council approve the conditional use permit to Diamond Auto to allow motor vehicle sales and <br />auto detailing with outdoor sale or display areas on the property located at 6100 Highway lOin <br />the E-1 Employment District. <br /> <br />Motion Carried.
