<br />ordinance also includes an appeal process if a permit is denied and includes a refundable fee of <br />$250. <br /> <br />The City Council discussed the types of shot allowed under the ordinance and noted that lead <br />shots are not allowed. <br /> <br />Police Chief Way stated that the City currently charges $5.00 for a bow permit and proposed <br />charging $5.00 for a hunting permit. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey asked if a provision should be added in the ordinance that addresses varmints <br />because residents should be allowed to control nuisance animals. <br /> <br />Police Chief Way stated he will revise the ordinance and bring it back for the City Council's <br />consideration at a future meeting. <br /> <br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The Work Session of the City Council was adjourned at 6:57 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Kurtis G.
