Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #09-07-.X,.XX <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 2"° PARTIAL PAYMENT TO AMERICAN LIBERTY <br />CONSTRUCTION FOR IP 08-22 SUNFISH LAKE PARK <br />WHEREAS; the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above -referenced work on January 9, 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for IP 08-30 Alpine Park Skate Park, <br />bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on March 11; 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to American Liberty Construction in the <br />amount of $31,730.53. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to American, Liberty Construction in the <br />amount of $67,775.15. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to American Liberty <br />Construction for Improvement Project 08-22 Sunfish Lake Park in the amount of <br />$67,775,15. <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of July 28, 2009. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />RESOLUTION #09 -07 -XXX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
