<br />Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to Approve Resolution #09-07- <br />148 awarding a contract for City project #08-29, Alpine Park Watermain to LaTour Construction <br />in the amount of $274,027.50. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Elvig, Jeffrey, <br />McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmembers Dehen and Look. <br /> <br />Councilmembers Lookand Dehen returned to the Chambers at 9:42 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #10: <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution Requesting Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment <br />Authority to Update the Market Analysis for Affordable Workforce and <br />Senior Housing and Authorize the County HRA to Fund the Update <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey left the Chambers at 9:43 p.m. and returned at 9:44 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig asked about the estimated costs. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that he believes it is in the $3,000 to $5,000 range. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Mayor Ramsey, to Adopt the resolution <br />requesting Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority to conduct and fund an update <br />to the Market Analysis for Workforce and Senior Housing for the City of Ramsey, which was <br />originally completed in April 2006. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Look asked if this would come back to the Council if the <br />cost exceeded $5,000. Deputy City Administrator Nelson noted that Karen Skepper from the <br />County does not anticipate the costs being above $3,000. <br /> <br />Amended motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Mayor Ramsey, to Adopt Resolution <br />#09-07-149 requesting Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment Authority to conduct and <br />fund an update to the Market Analysis for Workforce and Senior Housing for the City of <br />Ramsey, which was originally completed in April 2006, with a cost not to exceed $5,000. <br /> <br />Amended motion carried.
