<br />FC#3 <br /> <br />2010 GENERAL FUND BUDGET DISCUSSION <br />By: Diana Lund, Finance Officer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At its July 21, 2009 worksession, staff presented seven polices for council direction regarding possible <br />solutions in balancing the 2010 General Fund Budge. Based on total staff requests, the amount to <br />reduce the 2010 budget to obtain the designated 2009 tax rate was $1,300,000. <br /> <br />Staff is currently working on line item deductions within their respective departments and staffing <br />levels. <br /> <br />A summary of how to achieve a balanced budget will be handed out at the committee meeting. <br /> <br />Funding Source: <br />None required.
