<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-08-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROPOSAL FOR STRATEGIC FINANCIAL <br />PLANNING SERVICES WITH NORTHLAND STRATEGIES, DIVISION OF <br />NORTHLAND SECURITIES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City recently acquired 148.5 acres ofland in Ramsey Town Center for <br />development purposes and is progressing on key transportation and infrastructure projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff solicited a proposal for strategic financial planning services from its <br />financial consultant, Northland Securities for the purposes of analyzing the city's existing TIF <br />districts, creating a comprehensive financial plan related to the future development of the <br />Ramsey Town Center property, and assisting with planning f<;>r future capital improvements. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Ramsey City Council authorizes the proposal from Northland Strategies for <br />Strategic Financial Planning Services in an amount not-to-exceed $16,800 to be funded <br />from the Council Contingency Fund. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 11 th day of August 2009. <br />
