Way, Police Chief <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At the July 281h work session, CmU1cil discussed the recreational vehicles ordinance to consider <br />possible revisions allowing the use of snowmobiles and A1V's in more areas in the City. In <br />summary, the current ordinance restricts operation of recreational vehicles south of the 16700 block <br />of the City, except for access to parks for loading/unloading and parking purposes. Council <br />requested that this topic come back to work session, allowing for additional time for staff to provide <br />a recommendation regarding the potential code revisions, which staff will discuss during the <br />meeting this evening. <br /> <br />Attachment: <br /> <br />Current recreational vehicle ordinance <br /> <br />Action Statement: <br /> <br />Based upon Council discussion, direct stqff to prepare code amendment for Council consideration <br />at August/September regular meeting <br /> <br />Reviewed by: ~ <br />City Administrator: <br />, <br /> <br />CCWS: <br /> <br />08/11/09 <br />
