To: Ramsey City Council Members From: Jason Skyberg 16450 Halas Circle NW Greg Fritz 16280 Andrie Street NW David Matasovsky 15951 Andrie Street NW Subject: City of Ramsey Improvement Project #08-32 129 As you are aware the City of Ramsey has proposed to install a sidewalk as part of improvement project #08-32 129. Over the last 18 months there has been much discussion about this topic as well as a survey of the residents ofNorlhfork. We do not feel that the true feelings of the residents have ever been captured regarding the sidewalk component on the project. Approximately 2 weeks ago we started talking to as many of the residents affected by the sidewalk as possible. There are 80 properties on the Andrie Street / 1641h Lane roads. We spoke to 69 of the residents and asked them how they felt about the sidewalk being installed as part of the project. The results are listed belm\': · 5 Homeowners are neutral · 7 Homeowners are in favor of the sidewalk · 57 Homeowners are not in favor of the sidewalk The homeowners who are not in favor of the sidewalk addition to the project have signed a petition (copy attached) stating their viewpoint. A color coded map of the responses is also attached. Below is map key: . Blue - Neutral · Green - Favor the sidewalk · Yellow - Not in favor of the sidewalk We feel these results accurately reflect that the majority of homeowners feel that the sidewalk should not be installed as part of this project.
