<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-08-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO PREPARE AND DISTRIBUTE A REQUEST FOR <br />QUALIFIACTIONS (RFQ) RELATED TO DEVELOPMENT OF EAST TOWN CENTER PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has conceptually planned the improvements for East Town <br />Center Park, including the construction of an amphitheater and other amenities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has received a Metropolitan Council grant in the amount of $360,000 to <br />construct the amphitheater, which expires on June 30, 2010; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City desires to solicit landscape architecture firms to assist in the final <br />planning of East Town Center Park. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey shall prepare an RFQ and distribute to select landscape architecture <br />consultants for assistance in finalizing the park design for East Town Center Park. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 11 th day <br />of August 2009. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-08-XXX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
