<br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />The following Council minutes were noted: <br /> <br />1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated May 26, 2009 <br />2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated June 9, 2009 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Public Hearing Continued - Request for an Interim Use Permit to Allow the <br />Flying of Radio Controlled Aircraft; Case of Northwest Radio Control Club <br /> <br />Public Hearine: <br /> <br />Chairperson called the public hearing to order at 7:03 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner Gladhill presented the Staff Report <br /> <br />Citizen InDut <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Cleveland, to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. V oting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners, Cleveland, Dunaway, Hunt, <br />Rogers, and Van Scoy. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Motion by Commission VanScoy, seconded by Commissioner Levine, to recommend City <br />Council adopt the findings of fact favorable relating to the applicant's request for an interim use <br />permit. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Van Scoy, Levine, Dunaway, <br />Cleveland, Hunt and Rogers. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Levine, seconded by Commissioner Cleveland, to recommend that the <br />City Council approve the issuance of an interim use permit to Northwest Radio Control Club, <br />based on the findings of fact and contingent upon securing an access agreement. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners, Levine, Cleveland, Dunaway, <br />Hunt, Rogers, and Van Scoy Voting No: None.
