<br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan were also in attendance and spent time with <br />Hakanson Anderson Associates and Village Bank. The event was well attended. <br /> <br />Anoka Area Chamber Event: City Council / EDA Member Elvig and Economic Development <br />Coordinator Sullivan will be joined by Scott Darsow, Life Time Mgmt and Doug Hepper, <br />CEO/President of Vision Ease on July 27th for the Chamber event. It is an important event, <br />if another team is needed let Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan know. <br /> <br />Costar Group: Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan is in the process of getting our <br />Properties listed with the Costar Group. This is a free service. There is a showcase service, this <br />is a higher end listing and it is available for $49.95 monthly. Economic Development <br />Coordinator Sullivan is not suggesting that we sign up for showcase at this time, just wanted to <br />make staff aware of this for the future. <br /> <br />Hwy 47/16ih Commercial Node: The Landmark Bank site is for sale. There was a discussion <br />as whether to look into purchasing this property. Staff showed the Super Valu building to a <br />prospective tenant. <br /> <br />Business Expo: Need to set up date and location for next year. <br /> <br />MEMBER INPUT <br /> <br />Member Elvig discussed the idea of having an electronic billboard on Highway 10. He would <br />like this on the agenda for a future meeting. <br /> <br />Allina Clinic location was discussed. There was a miss quote in the Anoka County Union. The <br />Allina Clinic site has not yet been decided. <br /> <br />The question was asked if any emails or letters have been sent out to the Las Vegas connections. <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan stated that everyone has been emailed. Some have <br />responded. A press release and a map will be sent out to the contacts. lCSC follow up would <br />include sending out an email stating what we are doing, press release, map of the area and setting <br />up some meetings. <br /> <br />Dance Studio One is in the process of applying for a loan, they might not need the use of the <br />Revolving Loan Fund. <br /> <br />Deputy City Administrator/ Director of Community Development Nelson stated that LSA is not <br />in contract for any work right now. There is a meetings are set up with Lasher next week, we are <br />considering some of the phase two work. We are working with Northland Securities, our <br />financial advisor. A joint meeting with Planning Commission, and Economic Development <br />Authority is being planned. <br /> <br />Acapulco update: the lease has not yet been signed.
