Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #09 -08 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROPOSAL FOR STRATEGIC FINANCIAL <br />PLANNING SERVICES WITH NORTHLAND STRATEGIES, DIVISION OF <br />NORTHLAND SECURITIES <br />WHEREAS, the City recently acquired 148.5 acres of land in Ramsey Town Center for <br />development purposes and is progressing on key transportation and infrastructure projects; and <br />WHEREAS, staff solicited a proposal for strategic financial planning services from its <br />financial consultant, Northland Securities for the purposes of creating a comprehensive financial <br />plan related to the future development of the Ramsey Town Center property, and assisting with <br />planning for future capital improvements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the Ramsey City Council authorizes the proposal from Northland Strategies for <br />Strategic Financial Planning Services in an amount not -to -exceed $13,600 to be funded <br />from the HRA Fund. . <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 25a' day of August 2009. <br />
