12. ASSIGNMENT. Neither Nowthen nor Ramsey shall subcontract or assign any <br />portion of this Agreement to another entity without prior written permission from the <br />other party to this Agreement. Services provided to Nowthen pursuant to a mutual aid <br />agreement Ramsey has, or may enter into, with another entity does not constitute a <br />subcontract or assignment requiring prior approval of Nowthen so long as Ramsey <br />remains primarily responsible for providing the fire services required of it by this <br />Agreement. <br />IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the parties to this contract have hereunder set their <br />hands this day of , 2009. <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />Mayor <br />- .
