I. -- - .-_. <br />REQUEST FROM ROBERT TEIGEN FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN <br />OVERSIZING OF AN ACCESSORY STRUCTuRE SIZE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Robert Teigen on July 11, <br />2009 for a conditional use permit to exceed the total amount of accessory structure space <br />permitted on the property generally known as 7833 159th LN NW. arid legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Lot 11, Block 1, Sortebergs Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Propertytl) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TillS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />1. That on July 11, 2009, Robert Teigen, hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant", properly <br />applied for an conditional use permit (the "Permit") to exceed the amount of accessory <br />structure square footage allowed by City Code Section 9.11.02 by 151 square feet to allow <br />construction of a 576 square foot accessory structure expansion to the. existing garage (the <br />"Structure") . <br /> <br />2. That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public <br />hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on September 3, 2009 and that said <br />public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br />hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property arid surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Developing. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is approximately 2.5 acres in size. <br /> <br />5. That Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code states that on parcels of land of this size, <br />the total square footage of the main garage and all accessory buildings shall not exceed <br />2,700 square feet and that oversizing of accessory structures is a conditional use under <br />City Code Section 9.20.11. <br /> <br />6. That the Applicant currently has three accessory structures on the Subject Property <br />which total 2,275 square feet <br /> <br />7. That the Structure appears to meet all applicable setbacks. . <br /> <br />6 <br />
