<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-08-XXX <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH A COUNCILMEMBER UNDER MINN. <br />STAT. ~~ 471.88, SUBD. 5 AND 471.89, SUBD. 2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey desires to purchase the following services; (describe in <br />detail); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />in the contract; and <br /> <br />is the Councilmember of the City and will be financially interested <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is determined that the contract price of $_ is as low as, or lower than, <br />the price at which the goods can be obtained elsewhere at this time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the contract is not one that is required to be competitively bid. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Mayor and City Administrator are directed to enter into the above-mentioned <br />contract on behalf of the City of Ramsey from Councilmember _ for a price of $_. <br /> <br />2. That the Mayor and the City Administrator are directed to issue payment on the filing of an <br />affidavit of official interest by the interested official as required under Minn. Stat. S 471.89. <br /> <br />3. That this resolution is passed to comply with the provisions of Minn. Stat.
